Why are we discussing Sherwood? He isn't going to be the next Southampton manager.

To be fair, he did have Danny Rose in defence and that didn't help.

I'm getting to the point that I will take anyone if this drags on much longer. Lol

Odds are rapidly falling everywhere on Roberto Mancini.

I don't believe it myself, but it would be an incredible appointment if it were true!

...because people are piling onto Mancini as he's entered the market and had his odds cut.

Bookies will be rubbing their hands as people pile on to Mancini, allowing Koeman to drift and look out of the running.

Thus, people stop betting on Koeman and the bookies get to re-coup some of the money they're likely to be paying out.

You don't want Mancini, and the Koeman link has been going on for too long. Meanwhile Lennon and Sherwood are still looking for work but I gather you're not too keen.

I would love Mancini he's better than pochettino. Unfortunately I don't believe that he would come here

What is it now? Two weeks?

How many months were Spurs linked to Pochettino before it happened?

Ahh, the smugness of a team who has finally got it all worked out.

    Good luck for the season...

It was really just speculation for most part.

The Koeman link (and talks) appear to be legit, as in not just rumours but its obvious talks have happened. Plus hes out of work so you would think if both parties are happy then he would be manager by now, just the longer this drags on, more chance of a snag taking place, or another club abroad offering him a role.

What you want, is "breaking news". Koeman new Southampton manager, not all this "hes the ideal choice and he wants to manage in England"...but nothing comes of it.

Levy is our chairman. We never have it all worked out.

All it takes to become Spurs manager is speculation? You're right, Levy is clueless ;)

It's the close-season and Koeman is on holiday, what's the rush exactly?

I was at a local patisserie in Southampton this morning and Tuchel came in and ordered a single espresso and almond croissant.
