Shouldn't really analyse Daily Mail wording too deeply, but "changes" plural? It'd fit nicely with what we've heard about Cortese being liked, Les Reed being disliked, and all that. I still have the overwhelming feeling that Cortese was holding this all together.

I've said it before, but he better not. I know loyalty means far more to fans than it does to players, but if this is true, I'll feel hard done by. He gets us to turn his career around then legs it with a middle finger up after just one season.

The last lot with Lallana came out just after Krueger's statement, didn't it? Can't quite remember.

 

Even if this were true I am not convinced we would sell him.

After 1 year of being here the club may wish to make some sort of statement, particularly if Lallana is sold.

In addition, I cant see Liverpool paying £18-£20m that would make our hand twitch...

Ah, so if only Ralphy or Les had answered his call and discussed things then he wouldn't have put in a transfer request!!

 

So, does that mean he wouldnt have handed it in had they taken his calls!!!

All the players know we are close to unveiling a new manager so I am sure most of them will wait.

Unless they know who it is and some of them dont fancy it...
