The Manaus groundsmen have 3 days to convert this mess into a football pitch for England vs Italy...

It's nowhere near good enough for a World Cup game.

    <yikes>

Well that's going to be a fun match.

****ing atrocious pitch. The build up of these stadiums has been nothing but disaster, maybe next time that twat Blatter (hopefully out of a job by then) will pick somewhere where the stadia is already done.... *cough*England*cough*Spain/Portugal*cough*

South Africa wasn't that bad in terms of the facilities, it was just the football played that was ****.

Russia isn't really a bad place to stage it stadium wise, it already has those set up, they just need updating and/or expanding.

Qatar very likely won't keep the WC if everything keeps going as it is. Hopefully.

I think this sums up Sepp Blatter's time at FIFA quite well.

After hearing that Qatar got a world cup that will occur in summer,,, Antarctica has applied to get the 2030 world cup and wishes to hold it in winter.

So we'll be playing on a rutted, patchy, poorly mown council park of a pitch.

    In an equatorial climate.

During the hottest and most humid part of the day.

And their best player is a 35 year old whose trump card is his passing.

    Bring it on.

Would be a more sensible location than Qatar.

Though I must let you know that the 2030 World Cup has already been scheduled to happen in Sepp Blatter's back garden.

    That and much more John.

8 Brazilian workers have been killed working on various sites. The whole thing is a shambles sadly for Brazil.

    Agreed.

It will surely worry them more than us.

Actually, that's a good point. If the pitch is utter dogshit, and we play Lambert, we might have an advantage.
