Watched it last night, all your teasing meant I couldn't resist. Also it wasn't Soundwave it was Starscream.

    On a serious note though.

    Ygritte :(
    I love my red heads!
Hence my Sansa and Ygritte obsession.

    I hadnt planned to tbh.
Even though Khal Drogo from Game of Thrones is playing Conan, it still looked pretty sh!te.
Nothing will beat the Arnie original.

Just sin Edge of Tomorrow... brilliant film with a bit of a bog standard ending but the other 90% well makes up for that. <ok><ok> Two big thumbs up (three if your looking at Emily Blunt)

I dont think Hollywood knows how to make horror films any more man!
The last 20 years have been terrible for horror films.
Even the most semi decent ones we have seen recently are remakes of Japanese movies (The Ring, The Grudge etc).

The Shining, Carrie, Salem's Lot, Pet Semetary, Halloween (the first one), The Romero Zombie movies (The first 3 anyway), all classics! Awesome movies.

    Nowadays its complete cliche bullshit.
The first Scream movie was pretty good, but I wouldnt class it as a horror movie, since it wasnt scary....entertaining, but not scary.

Watched As I Lay Dying. Not bad and a good adaptation of the novel but the overall content doesn't translate well to film.

I'm still in the first series of Boardwalk Empire, around episode 7/8. It was fairly tough going at first but I'm really getting into it now. Good production values (looks great), fine actors and a solid script. Could be a fantastic series. A new character has just featured and I hope I see more of him. He's a World War vet' sniper and he stole every scene he was in. He has a very Gaston Leroux vibe. <laugh>
