Hi Spurcat, hope your well buddy.

Is Young Jordan Archer going to get a chance as no.2 or 3 to Lloris this season? Or are we looking to bring in another keeper ?

Glad Brad's signed on. Great pro and still a good keeper. Well respected too so the ambassador role will suit him perfectly.

Im not so sure. He looked like an old man in goal this season in the cups. I thought this would be his last. But if the club thinks he can give more then I hope they are right

From the looks of it, I doubt he'll be playing too much this coming season, and the club statement when he signed said as much: Our goalkeeper's Ambassadorial role will have a wide-ranging remit that will include greater involvement in our Global Coaching programme and engaging with our 30 Supporters Clubs from across North America as we continue to increase our global presence and bring our international fanbase closer to the Club.

Doubtless somebody on Twitter will put this and the rumours of our interest in Julian Green together and make the gossip section on the BBC Sport website...

goal.com are apparently claiming that remy has agreed to join spurs in principle after extensive talks between him and the club but is waiting until late july in the hope that arsenal want him!

and people wonder why goal.com is considered a mickey mouse outfit!

Other ITKs have said that past issues with Remy basically come down to medical insurance.
Specifically what it would cost the club if he signed for Spurs and then had a <standard> .
Is there any truth in this ??

Remy is a very good player and would be an excellent signing if true, however i would sooner have Konoplyanka.

I'd take Remy. I think the Arsenal stuff is bullshit, there's no way Spurs would agree to wait and see if Arsenal come in for him.

    There's this from the Fail
"Tottenham and Liverpool are tracking Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Karl Darlow" - think we've been watching this lad for a while, maybe Spurcat can update.

Yeah I've seen Darlow's name pop up a few times over twitter and the lesser known media outlets in recent weeks/ months. Not seen him play, is he any good? What sort of keeper is he? Sweeper keeper like Hugo or a stay on the line one like Brad?

I knew he'd left Spurs, but didn't see him go to Watford. The little google stats window still says he plays for Spurs

Signed for Watford pretty much the same day or day after his departure from us was announced I think. Surprised he went there, he's good enough to play in a top flight league in my opinion.

Watford aren't short of a few bob and their owners are desperate to get them in the Premier League so I'm sure he's getting a decent wage there. Sometimes it's a case of having to go down to a team that will go up. Better that than move to a badly run mess like Caulker did at Cardiff(although no one knew at the time).
