Apart from the claims of corruption, holding the World Cup in Qatar is ****ing dangerous given the heat and humidity. Mark my words, if it goes ahead, someone will die!

Dozens of slave labourers have already died there, they get them in, don't pay them and then they are stuck with no route out.

The fact that the Quatari's (and some other Middle Eastern countries) hold passports until an 'exit visa' is granted seriously disturbs me. I remember there was a footballer (possibly French) who hadn't been paid, and had to go on hunger strike just to be allowed to leave the country.

This is absolute proof now that FIFA needs to be stripped apart (or dumped altogether). You can't just call people racist!

From the reception the 5 Taliban detainees released from Guantanamo got I wouldn't rule out something happening on a terror front.

Wouldn't surprise me if someone has a little chat with the refs before our games

What amazes me is that the media and UEFA officials have all of a sudden jumped onto the "FIFA are corrupt" bandwagon. All football fans with even half a brain cell have known for years that Blatter and his cronies are as bent as carrots!

I've said before that the major European FA's, England, France, Spain, Italy, Germany, Holland and Portugal should take the lead in breaking away from FIFA. Over 90% of all earnings in football come from clubs in those regions, along with another 25 countries, which could easily be persuaded to come on board you'd have enough to launch a rival tournament. Without the major earnings and sponsors, who'd desert FIFA at the drop of a hat, FIFA would face oblivion unless their Arab backers bail them out and without the major players that would be unlikely. It just needs the 'big players' to grow a pair and take FIFA on...

The head of the Dutch FA spoke out against a new term for Sepp Blatter when he announced he was going to run again yesterday. Van Praag stood up after the announcement and declared he would not support a new term for the name FIFA has been damaged and smeared during the reign of Blatter. The English FA have supported Van Praag last night.

Source: Dutch national media(NOS) but here is an article in English bout what happened.

Well thats this bloke black balled and the Dutch will never get a WC now.

As above, Ive always thought Europe should break away and keep control out of the hands of the middle easterners, africans and carribeans. Theyve proved themselves untrustworthy.

Give Euro, SA and NA, Asia countries a vote and the Middle east, africa and carribean get one vote each, that way they wont be able to control world football
