Good effort Thai. Nice fish. Do they catch them by hand out there like they do in America, or hasn't that craze caught on out there yet?

Never heard of the yanks catching by hand and hopefully it will never happen here!
Although Many Thai's are poor they still like the sport of using a rod & line <ok>

Some places in America they wear gloves and fight the fish out. Looks mental when you think of the power that a catfish has, and these aren't small either.

Would like to see it, just to laugh. Seems crazy but maybe it does give the kind of buzz only an American can appreciate <laugh>

    `A Ramble`

    To christen Dave´s new sub-forum
I thought I´d just ramble away,
I hope that for some this won´t bore ´em,
As this ramble could take all day,
The Tour de France starts very shortly
    That ultimate bicycling affair,
I´m afraid for us who are portly
We´re never that likely to appear,
But for those who do have the courage
And for us who follow enthralled,
Whether here in Denmark or in Dulwich
For those three weeks we are just sold,
Those stalwarts who make it to Paris
In one piece, deserve, for the feat,
To all sup from that golden chalice
Not just he, the rest couldn´t beat,
To tennis fans I have to confess
That Wimbledon bores me to tears,
Although, the way that the girls dress
These days, is just worth a few cheers,
My own sport is golf in the summer
A great game to while away hours,
Looking for balls that did a runner
Mostly in the trees or the flowers,
But on those so seldom occasions
When everything clicks on the shot,
    What joy to get congratulations
When the eagle putt rolls in the pot,
I have to say too, that a flutter
    On galloping horses is fun,
    Although I invariably mutter
When the ones I don´t pick have just won,
I guess to be sure of a winner
I should stick to the yellow and green,
Good colours, not blue like the binners
    Still chasing a money-spinning dream,
So I´ll leave this ramble and go now
But I´ll pop in for a few peeks,
    And leave things to P. Lambert´s know-how
When things begin in a few weeks.

RBf - good reference to the TDF, i've been a fan for years. i'll be watching, although my patience is starting to run a bit thin with the drugs scandals (especially if Lance is found guilty)

on a seperate point, is anybody else getting p&&sed off with the Olympics? tried to buy some tickets this morning, but we'd forgotten our password - only the password reset email still hasn't arrived.

RBF that really is a gem! I do believe it's the first time I've seen courage rhymed with Dulwich - inspirational - back in the 60's I was a copper at Camberwell, with it's 2 satellite stations of East and West Dulwich! Certainly needed courage to wander around there on some nights!:police:

Not come across that one Max - the second one above is nearly £150 a bottle so I've not tried that one either <yikes>
