Morning all. Did anyone see Gary Lineker's programme on Brazilian football last night? It was interesting, and slightly humbling, to see how so many of the stars of the past speak such excellent English. Ronaldo came over extremely well, especially when he spoke of his idolisation of Zico as a boy. Leonardo always makes me laugh the most though - he comes across as some brooding Hollywood film star and I half expect to see him pop up in a very moody Luc Besson film! Pele was great as always - "all round the world they talk about all my famous goals - in England they only talk about Gordon Banks"
I remember when I first moved to Weston we went to a pub/restaurant and the food and service was excellent so we payed regular visits, always with the same quality of food and service! On about our tenth visit, the service was it's usual standard of excellence but the food was nowhere near as good as usual and we all said what a good job that wasn't our first visit as we would never have returned! You just never know!
