This is taken from the SUN
I would not be suprised if this is a good rumour for once

QPR manager Neil Warnock is weighing up a £2million bid for Jobi McAnuff.

Reading winger McAnuff was wanted by Warnock last summer but Royals chief Brian McDermott rejected a £1.5m offer.
But the Hoops supremo remains a big fan of the 29-year-old, who has just one year left on his Madejski contract.
New Birmingham boss Chris Hughton is also monitoring the situation.
But a source said: "Jobi would love to have a crack at the Premier League League.
"He's had his entire career in the Championship. He loves Reading so QPR need to make a decent bid."
Warnock is ready to rescue Tal Ben Haim from his Portsmouth nightmare.
Defender Ben Haim, 29, wants to quit after claiming Pompey have withheld his £36,000-a-week wages since January.
And Rangers keeper Radek Cerny, 37, has signed a new one-year deal.

Routledge has failed several times at the top level so far, McAnuff hasn't as yet. Personally, I doubt that either are good enough.

Routs has never played in Prem for a manager as good as Warnock, and he seemed a different player to me.

Either would be OK. Think both will have good and bad spells in the prem but at least their pace would give defenses something to think about.

Anyone other than me think we need a different system in the Prem than the Championship (as well as better players of course)?
Anyone other than me think NW may not be able to deliver such a system?

    It's Friday and I fancied getting a kicking :emoticon-0100-smile

This very much depends on the players we have. If we have the same players, I'd go with the same system. If Taarbs is gone I'd support a change of style. That could make a good thread, "Name your line up and formation in the post Taarbs era".

QPR are considering a £2 million bid for Reading winger Jobi McAnuff.

Manager Neil Warnock is mulling over a move for the player. Like fellow Hoops target Darren Ambrose, McAnuff is another player Warnock has been admiring for some time.

He bid £1.5 million for him last summer, but that offer was rejected by Reading boss Brian McDermott rejected a £1.5m offer.

But he is ready to renew his interest in the 29-year-old and is hopeful that an improved bid plus the lure of Premier League football will push the deal through this time. The fact that the wideman is out of contract at the end of next season adds a further complication for the Royals.

A source said: "Jobi would love to have a crack at the Premier League League.

"He's had his entire career in the Championship. He loves Reading so QPR need to make a decent bid."

New Birmingham boss Chris Hughton is also rumoured to be interested.

I'd go with the same system if Tarbs stays. He would be no good in a 4-4-2 or 4-3-3 imo.

Jobi McAnuff is an excellent player I am sure that H.H would benefit from his crosses.

McAnuff & Routledge brings about a hobsons choice kinda argument! Both brilliant on there day, but go missing a lot when the your looking for a performer when the other stars go missing. Lets face it, Wayne dosen't really want to be at QPR, He thinks he is better than what he is, but he is only out to feather his own nest. Flashes of brilliance here and there but not enough to elevate him more than a good championship player. Alas I fear the same can be said for McAnuff, although he does seem a more honest pro, and givn his chance in the prem? But any more so than Mackie?

According to Sky Sports News Routledge has refused to join us. That's that. Good riddance!
