"Fat man ....... thick **** ........ old man."

Yep, he certainly deserves respect for taking it like a man <ok>

Only a bit of fun mate, I see where you're coming from and agree to an extent.
I just can't abide people who laugh it up when Sunderland are struggling and take the piss out of 'their own'.

Just tuned into this and must say I believe Baz has explained himself adequately so why bring up old posts, probably made when the majority of us were well down regarding results at the time and with a very daunting fixture list looming. He did speak openly and honestly at the time and expressed his feelings, as they were at the time. Don't deal in percentages but the dire performances at the time deserved every criticism. If Baz took it too far then find a post where someone says they were confident that we would survive.

I've been around too long to get deeply emotional about football as we are only as good as our last game but looking back over the whole season we did nothing special until the last five games which saved our bacon. Speaking personally I am still out in my judgement of Poyet as he had 3/4s of a season and a transfer window to produce a winning team. I am just grateful we survived.

Don't see the point of dragging this post back up. Fair enough I didn't agree with most of what baz posted but this seems more like a personnel vendetta is been pursued above and beyond normal banter and disagreement to the point where no one is coming out looking any good.

No vendetta, just a harmless reminder that what you say can come back to bite you.

The lad chose to mount a sustained attack on various Sunderland supporters, nowt to do with Sunderland or even football.

This is one of dozens of threads I could have thrown up, he'd have been all over this board, laughing it up, if we'd gone down.

He said he'd have the last laugh when Sunderland were relegated <doh>

If people don't like this thread too bad, I didn't start it & Baz chose to 'contribute' no one forced him ........ not my problem, end of story.

I presume you are on the wind up trail?

PDC was probably right in most of his criticisms of the club and the players, however never in a million years was he the right man to sort them out. Also De Fanti was also an idiot who resulted in a load of useless players (probably favours to his mates and him getting a fee no doubt)
