Careful, Fred. We don't want him fainting from excitement.

I think I'll skip the farming thing, probably the train thing, too. I gotta friend who's a Yorkshireman who has it on good authority the Lancs will attack again this summer. Don't want to be caught in that fight.

19th July and it's going to be quite a day -

On this day as well as the Crawley away game, we also play Woking away and the U18's play AFC Wimbledon at home.

And before that, it's a trip North of the Border:

The Club can confirm two pre-season friendly fixtures in Scotland next month.

Fulham will face East Fife at the Bayview Stadium on Saturday 5th July (3pm), before travelling to Motherwell’s Fir Park to take on the Scottish Premier League runners-up on Saturday 12th July (2pm).

Tickets for these fixtures are priced at £10 for adults and £5 for concessions. On sale dates for the games will be detailed in due course.

One of those friendlies - against Woking - has been confirmed as an U21 game. They've also got one the week before against 'The Waltons'.

"Kit Symons’ side will take on Walton Casuals at Waterside Stadium on Saturday 12th July (3pm), before meeting Woking at Kingfield Stadium on Saturday 19th July (3pm).

Woking have released their ticket information for this fixture: £8 adults, £4 concessions, and free for under-16s.

Walton Casuals are yet to confirm ticketing details."

And here are the lads having a breather during Day 2 of pre-season training -

The first team are actually in Scotland on a 10-day stint. As well as the publicised friendlies against East Fife (today) and Motherwell (next Saturday), there will be a game behind 'closed doors' with Glasgow Rangers.

Well it’s not exactly turning out to be a “Summer Holiday”. On the Club site Felix said, “ We move forward together, and will prepare for the coming season. We’ve done a lot of physical work, but by the end of the week we’ll start to look at the finer details of play and tactics.”

Living up to this regime, after today’s game against Glasgow Rangers he had them back out doing laps.

Are you wondering who the guys in the photo in your post are C58?

If so it is Burn and McCormack at the front. Half of Elsad Zverotic out wide left, Hutch behind Burn, then Hoogland in the middle and it's a slither of Adil Chihi behind McCormack as opposed to David.

Ah ha! Thanks FI. I'll get to know them...eventually and hopefully before the Millwall game.

As an aside. I got an extra ticket for that game for a chum of my son. It arrived today - impressive background of the flag with the old badge flying across the Hammy End crowd. anticipation <party>

I'm fairly sure that's Felix, just without his glasses. We all know he's a big cuddly warm character....

Well there won’t be any friendlies at the Cottage this year. The “team” are off to America on Thursday, play DC United on Saturday, and then go to a holiday camp in Austria before the Ipswich game on the 9th August

“Felix Magath's men fly out to the US on Thursday to take on MLS outfit DC United at the home of Jacksonville Jaguars, who are owned by Fulham supremo Shahid Khan.

The west Londoners will then head to Europe for a camp in Austria ahead of the big Championship kick-off against Ipswich on August 9.

Boss Magath said: "There are some players at the World Cup on vacation and we need some time to work on the team and progress. We go to America on Thursday and then a training camp in Austria."

The first of our two friendlies in Austria has been called off.

”Due to adverse weather conditions, the organisers at Jenbach Stadium have cancelled Wednesday’s fixture between Fulham and Simurq PFK.

Torrential rain has caused the pitch to become waterlogged and made the surface unplayable.”

So no clues as to what might be the Felix select XI. Mind you I suppose it gives the big money boys more time to get fit before the other planned friendly, which I think is on Saturday.

Tomorrow's friendly game is against Turkish side Rizespor, nickname isd the Black Sea Sparrowhawks.

    History:

Formed in 1953, the club was known simply as Rizespor for decades until – ahead of the 1990/91 campaign – they adopted the name Çaykur Rizespor. This is due to their sponsorship by Çaykur – Turkey’s national tea company who harvest their produce in Rize.

Rizespor have been something of a yo-yo club in recent years, having spent considerable time in both Turkey’s Süper Lig, as well as the division below. They are currently preparing for their second consecutive season since their return to the top flight, having endured a five-year absence.

Last year saw them secure a respectable 13th position in the Süper Lig, although their campaign would have been markedly stronger had they not gone on a barren 15-game winless run in the league from September until February.

    Manager:

After impressing as a youngster at first club Kahramanmaraşspor, Mehmet Özdilek was picked up by Turkish giants Beşiktaş where he went on to earn legendary status.

During a 13-year career with the Istanbul club, he won 14 trophies – including four league titles – and scored 130 goals in less than 400 games, despite the fact he operated as a midfielder. He also secured a couple of personal accolades: the league’s top goalscorer in 1987, and the Turkish Player of the Year award four years later.

Since hanging up his boots, Özdilek had been in charge of several teams in his homeland before taking over at Rizespor last summer. He also took in a spell as assistant coach with the national side.[/I]

Their star player is Lomana Lua Lua of Plymouth and Blackpool fame. The game should be a decent run-out but no more than that. It's a bit worrying that the side Felix chooses to face Ipswich will have had little, if any, game time together.

Well I never, check out today's starting line up:

Bettinelli (C); Hoogland, Bodurov, Amorebieta, Stafylidis; R. Williams, David, Trialist A, Kacaniklic; Woodrow, Mitroglou

Anyone got the inside track as to who the trialist is?
