Oh dear what a shame....but haveno fear that the massive will be able to pay it off...the just can't be ar@sed
I've got some Leeds mates and would certainly take no pleasure in seeing them go to the wall but how funny would it be to have a team singing 'Champions of Europe' in the 12th division?
Something will be sorted out. Always the way with the bigger clubs. Leeds have hardly been making the headlines regarding their finances.
After throwing money into buckets at Loftus Road, I can't see many of us taking joy in another club going to the wall. I certainly don't.
I've always feared a house of card type effect, if one goes others will follow. I'm sure that someone will save Leeds, but that is exactly the attitude that will allow a team to go under.
Hereford on their way it seems, expelled from the Conference today... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/27786442
No, of course not ....they are a massive club so they may just survive. If the FA don't relegate them, perhaps they could bring back O'Leary for another round.
Very sad to see, and a case study I hope doesn't become all to familiar to us. We are certainly running a risk financially at the moment.
Agreed, football is our heritage passed down through time it gives me no pleasure to see a club in trouble.
