    Pochettino will ditch them if they don't perform straight away. He doesn't have patience. He will try to find a core 15 and everyone else will get 5 mins subs if that. Then you'll be knackered over christmas. I predict Soldado and Lamela will be on the peripherie and sold on in January.

    That originally appeared about 10 days ago but probably has no substance as Javier more likely to omve abroad.

    Intersting that todays papers alleging Shaw has agreed a deal with Man UTd for £160,000 per week which is equally ridiculaous since I was under the impression he is not able to negotiate until we accept an offer - otherwise it is tapping up

    I would guess that nowadays when buying a player the last thing done in a transfer would be negotiating the fee with the selling club

    Some press are saying Alba is a better choice of left back for man united. If they do take Shaw from us, would we stand a chance with Alba?

    I sort of expected the response but I'm a born optimist. After all, no one expected us to get Lovren. And with a high profile new manager, who knows.....

    Nobody else wanted Lovren because of his awful form in the previous 18 months or so before he joined us. The chances of us getting Alba are about 1000000000000/1

    Lovren was a CB playing for Lyon who had a poor season. Alba is playing for Barcelona and is one of the best left backs in the World.
