Crackers or bread? I used to work with a French lassie and she said the frogs always swore by cheese and bread. I must differ however, cheese and biscuits (especially crackers) are the dogs bollocks. Especially after a meal out (hate sweet puddings). What say thee?
I like both. Cheese n' crackers is great, but sometimes it's a nice switch to have cheese with crusty bread.
I like it on bread and crackers although I am partial to a nice smelly cheese on the end of a sausage
I don't like the sweetness of Port.I much prefer a nice heavy Rhone,St.Joseph,Crozes-Hermitage or Chateauneuf.
I normally have cheese crackers/bread with red wine, but after a meal and the cheese board comes out ye canny beat a nice port. Am no any kind of port expert, I was only introduced to it a couple of years ago when at dinner in a restaurant. But, **** me, it was good.
...additionally, am no longer a fan of heavy wines like Merlot or Cab Sauvs. I still drink them if I'm given them but I don't buy them by choice. Chateauneuf is overpriced pish. If ye want a decent over priced wine go for a Barolo.
