Dublin is the best airport and get a lift off one of us. It is about a 1.5 hour drive to Athlone. Swords might even pick you up. He is 10 minutes from the airport.

Just my luck...heading off on holidays from the 1st to 11th August Athlone and Dublin only an hour away from me . Athlone are brutal bottom of the table and only 1 win Rovers are a good side and easy to get to on the Luas

The ground is a good 12-14 miles from the airport. A taxi from the airport would be 40 euros at least. I would advise you to stay overnight. The easiest way to get to the ground from the city centre is to take the red line luas tram to Tallaght..
