To be fair mate, it's every players dream to be coached by Alan Pardew ........ good luck to the lad, he'll need it <ok>

He'll also need it if Cattermole decides he wants a tacking competition in the next derby <laugh>

My favourite comment from the Mag board is this one, f**king hilarious,

"Nice to see a player clearly chosing us over other clubs. Means he really wanted to come."

Nowt to do with him wanting to stay in the NE or Newcastle being the only club showing an interest <doh>

Newcastle have confirmed the signing of Jack Colback on a "long term" contract. We understand that to be a six-year deal.

Obviously wanted stability for his family?

<applause>

Absolute top marks to whoever posted that ........... 10 years at the club and scored 1 more than Giaccherini who's been there 10 minutes.

Also highlights his shocking ginge mane and mocking of the Newcastle supporters.

Lets face it. Not nice him going up the road, but was he ever a "next level" player?

Liked his commitment, his pleasure in doing a good job, but......

plenty have done exactly the same job.

Let's move up and on

I said a few days ago, I can never have an issue with a player going to his boyhood club.

6 year deal, probs a nice wee pay rise, can we really blame him?

Simple terms, and as you all know this has been my stance throughout, I just can't care. I'd have liked the £4-6million he's worth in todays ridiculous market, but I want players in our midfield who can change games and score goals.

Simple.

Club statement
Published: 09 June, 2014
by Sunderland AFC
Club comment on Colback departure.
After the announcement that Jack Colback has signed for Newcastle United, SAFC has issued the following statement:
“Jack is a player we have nurtured and developed through our academy system since he was eight years old. We gave him the opportunity to become a professional footballer and are therefore extremely disappointed in the events that have led to his departure from the club.
“This wasn’t about money - the club agreed to all of the terms demanded of us during discussions and we were always led to believe that Jack wanted to stay with us. At his and his representatives’ request, final talks were put on hold until the club secured its top flight status. To our dismay however, we were subsequently never given the chance to negotiate with him to stay.
“For him to then leave the club that has supported him throughout his formative years in such a manner, with no chance for Sunderland to recover any of the significant investment that it has made in him as a player, has left a bitter taste."

Well that's interesting isn't it.

Any well wishing can **** off, the ginger, sideways passing cock sucker.

I hope he's the Cabaye replacement, as that would mean certain doom, as he simply couldn't create an illusion in his own head.

Jonjo Shelvey was £5 million, changes games and scores goals.

Plus he doesn't have a ginger hair on his head ........ I heard he uses a hair treatment called Alopecia, because he's worth it <ok>
