Nice to see a reputable site linking us with someone decent! http://www.westlondonsport.com/qpr/derby-star-bryson-is-targeted-by-qpr-721 " 09/06/2014 By David McIntyre Derby midfielder Craig Bryson is wanted by QPR. The 27-year-old scored 16 goals for the Rams last season and featured against the R’s in the Championship play-off final. Having secured promotion back to the top flight courtesy of Bobby Zamora’s last-minute goal in that dramatic victory at Wembley, Rangers are keen to strengthen their squad ahead of the new campaign. And they are one of several clubs interested in Scotland international Bryson, who moved to Derby from Kilmarnock three years ago. He scored two hat-tricks for Steve McClaren’s side last term, one of them coming against their East Midlands rivals Nottingham Forest. QPR boss Harry Redknapp wants to sign at least one midfielder this summer and was hoping to land both Bryson and Steve Sidwell. But he has missed out on Sidwell, who will join Stoke on a two-year deal when his Fulham contract expires at the end of the month."
I'm glad its local paper, they seem to be more on it with the exception of the standard. He'd be a sensible signing. Looks like Hughes finally did something for us in taking sidwell off the market.
That's the kind of signing we need He's the type of player who gives everything in every game and has an eye for goal as well He'd be more than welcome at our club
27? Far too old. We should really be looking around for maybe an 18-19 year old with bags of experience old head on young shoulders type who is sensible level headed, a lovely lad, who wouldn't want the earth in wages, loves QPR, would die for the shirt, you know the type. Got to be plenty of them around if Harry would only get off his injured knees and take a look ffs!!
I imagine the fact we essentially robbed 120million off Derby will mean they'll try to fleece* us though? *no pun intended
I don't really see the Standard as a real local paper. It's an advertisement/propaganda rag, just like the Metro.
F*ck me! We skinned them for £120 million and could walk off with their best player for less than a million. McClaren will be gutted!...
This is just the sort of signing we should be looking for. Guaranteed that he will choose somewhere else ahead of us.
But we always tend to take our time & fcuk about when we are after these signings instead of going gun ho & sign the bloody player, we've missed out so many times it's getting embarrassing.
He was only on the Bench for their biggest game of the year, and was ****e when he came on. What does he have to suggest he is even close to PL quality?
