From those highlights. He's at fault for the 4th and 7th and he should have done better for the 5th.

My God he needs to take a good look at himself after that showing, I know he was not the only one at fault but he needs to go away this summer and come back fitter and stronger or Leicester are gonna get taken apart at the back in the Prem.

Not good enough Wes sorry mate

You need to think about the bigger picture.

He's been holidaying for a month whereas players like Benzema and Giroud (who can tear anyone up on their day) have been training non-stop for the world cup, plus it's a friendly where he's playing with no-marks.

Sorry Guys for me there is no such thing as a friendly and i find some of them a complete waste of time, friendlies are only of benefit in pre-season to get game time and fitness levels back up from the summer break and for new signings to get into the style of play & positions etc...

I will give you a good example as Roy Hodgson quoted "Well i am happy with the last three games, it stands us in good stead that we have played 3 South American teams get use to how they play and how they adapt to the conditions etc... Blah Blah Blah.

Sorry but playing Chile, Ecuador and Honduras will be nothing like playing Brazil, Uruguay or Argentina complete B******s, plus in the process half the side got kicked off the park which could have jeopardized some of England's performances in the World Cup.

Fully appreciate what Miami and you are saying though Andy i just got different way of looking at it. Before this post i did have a slight concern about the pace of Morgan in the Prem and seeing that performance did not sit well with me. At the end of the day it's a great honour for anyone to play for your country and Wizard has already posted saying he was all over the place which is what i meant by coming back fitter & stronger for next season which will be tough.

    Cheers

Plus the Reggae Boyz not happy chappies!!!!

On their fans forum, www.reggaeboyz.com, in the Jamaica and France matchday thread, the supporters discussed in detail the changes that need to be made for the national football team to improve and the performance, or lack of, in the match against the European heavyweights.

Here are a few examples of their thoughts on the game:

‘’I spoke about this same issue with the defensive setup. The wingers, central mids and full back get confused as to who is marking who. Since our players generally grow up playing against rigid systems they are often at their worst against fluid one striker set ups. Morgan needs to step up and take someone so that Lloydinho and the midfielders right in front of morgan are not scrambling and marking multiple people despite us having the overall numbers advantage.’’

‘’Morgan is always a step slow on defence and he is aging and will get slower. He is alright against lessor talented teams. The middle of our defence needs talent going forward.’’

‘’Austin has no clue about passing. He is a liability’’

‘’Austin passing ability is big part of our struggles. Holding mids need to be able to distribute. Wes Morgan fell asleep on the fourth goal’’

‘’Does Morgan have a degree in backing up. Step up. I am not sure what he is doing’’

‘’Austin can do a job, hes techhnically terrible and his passing and pass selection is awful, but hes powerful and needs to learn that his job is just to win the ball and release the simple pass.’’

‘’Most importantly though is my assessment of Rudolph Austin as a midfielder. He CANNOT PASS A BALL TO SAVE HIS LIFE!! I love his hustling but, why in the name of sound reasoning are the JAMAICAN coaches asking him to do something that he clearly does not have the ability or skill to do? Granted I am not singling Mr Austin out but it is painful to watch’’

‘’Rudi has trouble getting the ball of his feet and when he finally does, usually after three or four dribbles, it almost always go to the opposition. It's the biggest weakness in his game.’’

An 8-0 loss will not mean any players come away with any credit, but the Leeds and Leicester duo appear to have the most to prove to their own fans moving forward if they are to salvage their reputations.

Just seen this now so even more concerned to be honest! Source Newsnow website

and why would somebody put the chance of playing at the highest level in their career, yes he was playing against some of the best players in the world representing his country. but in a game with nothing at stake and prob the best they could hope for keeping it to nil- nil. the french players wouldn't have wanted the reggae boys to put their chances of playing at a world cup at risk with reckless tackles either.

... it was Peru not Chile ... Chile played us back in November at Wembley and took our 'first choice' back four apart in a 2-0 win for them ... which does not bode well now does it <laugh>
