Qpr to play leyton orient in pre-season

    QPR to travel to Brisbane Road for O’s friendly in late July ...
    THE R’S will play Leyton Orient in a pre-season friendly on Tuesday 29th July.

    Harry Redknapp’s Premier League squad will travel to Brisbane Road, the home of the League One outfit, for a 7.45pm kick-off.

    Orient were denied promotion from the third tier this season, losing to Rotherham United in the League One Play-Off Final.

    Confirmed First Team pre-season fixtures:

    Rot Weiß Erfurt v QPR – Tuesday 22nd July 2014 – 19.30pm (local time)
    RasenBallsport Leipzig v QPR – Saturday 26th July 2014 – 14.30pm (local time)
    Leyton Orient v QPR – Tuesday 29th July 2014 – 19.45pm
    Southend United v QPR – Wednesday 30th July 2014 – 19.45pm

    That's 4 games arranged for July and none for August.

    Still plenty of free dates available in August to pop over this side of the Irish sea.

    I really hope these lower league teams conduct themselves in the manner of a "friendly" game, and not try to kick the crap out of us, as Honduras did against England, resulting in unwanted injuries just before the start of our competitive season.

    4 games in 8 days means that there will be two groups. One team in Germany and one in East London/Essex.

    Can't see the first team being involved at Orient or Southend.
