I heard that whilst making the new one the production team, (director, producer, writer etc) had the motto 'Ignore X-men origins'. Don't know if you want to follow their ideology
After watching the first again it's a good film but they've ****ed up the ongoing continuity with characters and there's no way back. They are pretty good films but lack that link that any great films have. If one person had done them all they may have had a great set of films.
I know a while ago you gave Boardwalk Empire a go, and didn't carry on with it. Have you watched it now? I did the same, but gave it another go - well worth it. Turned out to be excellent mate, and I still haven't finished it. I'm coming up to the end of season 3.
I think the issue with x men is they did the first ones fine but have realised that the success of origins was such that they now want the new Hollywood stars like fast bender etc.... X men 3 killed professor x... He's back right The role of the blue chick is all over the place Wolverine origin put her as dating Logan then running off and two movies hence we get a totally different story The timing of events is messed up and such as well But in the end it doesn't matter so much as it's just ignore all that and take movie for what it is
Marvel's main **** up was selling off characters (Spiderman, X-men, Daredevil & Fantastic Four) it meant the lost almost all control over what was made. Also meant they couldn't combine them with the characters they did keep like the Avengers. Imagine a proper Marvel Universe film series, instead of the half we have.
end of scene credits..... ffs who watches those! i dont agree on mystique... its too all over the place for me. shes with magnetio then she not then she turn to his side etc in wolverine origins the girl who is with logan...is Kayla i forgot
Your welcome common citizen. No way say **** all about GoT and Penny Dreadful or i'll have your bollocks!!!
viking was ok but the way they go say the names is just hilarious and ruins it. ................... right on plane over i saw: 1. jack ryan shadow agent - i thought is was good, but not great. quite slick and kevin costner was not too bad in it actually, directed by sir kenneth branagh. (sp?) he was a russian bad guy and his accent slipped late on. Overall i'd say worth a watch but its done to dvd very quick. 2. lego movie... for the fun. slept through part of it but i remember 80's space man well 3. 3 days to kill which was directed and starred kevin costenr also.. i though it was quite ok. as with all costner movies it was way too long (he seems not to know how to get a movie to a fast pace) but it was actually quite funny in parts and the actino was good too... but the plot was poor when every time he got to a bad guy of note he'd keel over (no spoilers) And i cannot remember if i watched another one which bodes ill for any i did see. 8 hours flight or something so i must have not i dunno. Funny how old costner turned back up all of a sudden.
indeed... catchy tune that but i must say...ok th newer lego suits the movie the old 80s lego man looking all chewed and cracked then going ape **** crazy cos he got to build a space ship was my fav bit.
