    The thing with the religion thread - some like CCC, genuinely want a discussion which is why he created his philosophy thread, but the slagging off just goes one way. I mostly left the last one alone because you're right, people on a forum like this don't want to discuss controversial subjects and there's no 'mutual' respect. Actually the philosophy thread did go quite well up to a point, people using it were interested in having questions answered, but once the axe grinders appear, it's all downhill.

    Hunting in general may be controversial, fishing, not so much.

    skidoos in the area. they have some law up here they can go anywhere so they were f'n dangerous during snow.

    there's many lakes so theres huge amounts of power boats so i'm sure theres jet skis around.

    crocs? its cold ffs.. its beaver country!
