I'm gonna be in that number (maybe): For one Saints fan, loyalty has its limits

Its a great article that definitely taps into the feelings Saints fans have developed over the last 5 years but we really need to keep perspective here. Rickie Lambert has gone to Liverpool. Now he was to some degree a big beating heart of the squad and was obviously well loved but good on him, I'm happy for him. Other than that we've lost Poch to Spurs but despite his achievements the squad was there before him and it remains after him. Thats it thats all. There may be more to come but it all remains to be seen. If the doom mongering and poaching fails to live up to predictions we have 95% of what was built up still in place. The potential is there for improvement more than it is for disintegration IMHO.

    Agreed.

By the way, you didn't say where you were in NZ..? Did an IP lookup and it said Christchurch. My first ever day in NZ was in Christchurch, when I emigrated, back in 1990. Woke up to earth tremors during the first night, and the first thing I bought was a TV in Riccarton Road. Priorities..! ;)

    Yep, I know Queenstown.

I do know Gore well, often gets scoffed at here but I like the place. Great trout fishing down that part of the world.
