Best Driver: Two!: Ricciardo and Rosberg. Worst Driver: Although quick at times, Raikkonen was inconsistent. Actually, he was a bit tatty all weekend. Best Rookie: Magnussen. Best Team: Red Bull. Worst Team: Marrussia. Best Overtake: Ricciardo on Perez. Although DRS played its part, it was a race-winning move and had been 'set-up' several corners in advance in order to be in the correct position out of the hairpin. Funniest-moment: ⦠Most Surprising Result: Red Bull win. I feel like adding that I am NOT surprised this went to Ricciardo rather than Vettel! Least Surprising Result: Rosberg podium was one of the few reasonable predictions to come true! Special Mention to: My next-door neighbour. Race Rating: 9.3/10 Best Commentator/Presenter â¦
With fear of being labeled a Hamelot (as usual), I question why Hamilton would figure in your worst. I don't recall him having a bad race from a driving point of view.
Best Driver: Ricciardo Worst Driver: Chilton Refused to take the blame, despite the replays clearly showing he wasn't in control when he reached the apex. At least the media will stop using his finishing record to defend him now. I just feel with the car under him, if he had not have tagged Nico at the last chicane, he might have been in the mix, even without Mgu-k.

There wasn't any contact there. His brakes were already on the way out. You could black dust/smoke coming from his rear wheels.
This. He has taken a slating on here and I'm really not sure what he is supposed to have done that was that wrong. He perhaps wasn't his best in quali but never stopped fighting in the race and had Rosberg under pressure pretty much the whole time, forcing him into two major errors. He was unlucky not to profit from those, and to have his race ended by mechanical failure. Without failing machinery this season he would be comfortably leading the championship. As it is he has it all to do again.
Not sure if you have posted this in the right thread? He was Out qualified by his team mate and being led by his team mate at the point of retirement which means he would get a lower score than Rosberg. Rosberg's score will be inflated because he limped round and got a result against expectation, something we were unable to see from Lewis, I don't view that as a slating.
