I don't think she was criticising the original feminists, however the current concept has become archaic and counter-productive in modern society which is what she has a problem with.
Feminists in the 21st century are more interested in petitions for snowmen to be renamed 'snowpeople' and other such petty crap. They make a mockery of the brave suffragists who campaigned for things that actually mattered. I'm not suprised Lana Del Rey isn't interested in feminism, it's a relic, it has reached its objective.
Not sure which feminists you're talking about. I'm talking about the ones that fight for girls to be given the rights to an education. To not have someone genitaly mutilate them. To not be imprisoned and sentenced to death because they married someone of another faith. Not to mention rape/murder/kidnap/human trafficking. To even be able to drive a car. I could go on. I'm not talking about calling someone a 'sportsperson'. If you think we have equality amongst the sexes now you're sadly mistaken.
Rape/murder/kidnap/human trafficking affects men as well, why aren't you fighting their battles? FGM rarely occurs in Britain and all girls here have the right to education. If you are so bothered about the aforementioned monstrosities affecting women, move to Nigeria and actually do something constructive to combat it instead of criticising a young popstar for having an opinion.

Violence esp sexual affects far fewer men than women. But is wrong regardless of gender. I never suggested otherwise. Girls are taken out of school here in the UK, are taken abroad in the 6 weeks holidays to have FGM performed. Why do I have to move country to be appalled by injustice? So you're criticising me for having an opinion and criticising a woman who had an opinion and said feminism bores her!
We have seperate sporting events as I guess there are differences in men and women physically. Generally speaking.
