What a waste of a banner, no way are the ****s getting their hands on The Falklands, they have never belonged to them and never will.
Which tabloid will be the first to use the ever popular "argie-bargie" headline? My money's on the Star.
The best headline ever was Newsweek, "The Empire Strikes Back" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:The_empire_strikes_back_newsweek.jpg
To put this into context, The Falkland Islands are as far away from Argentina (500 kms) as Britain is to the Czech Republic. The Islands have never legally been under Argentinian sovereignty (except for the 1982 invasion) and have been constantly inhabited by British citizens since 1766.
Every time I read someone in the likes of the Guardian refer to it as the "Falklands/Malvinas" I cringe.
The only thing interesting about the Falklands is the bayonet I'll inherit when my da crokes. Other than that, who really gives a **** about some ****ty rocks in the middle of the ocean? Apart from Thatcher obviously.
