Yeah..... He's not that amazing that it won't happen Besides lfc are a big draw now The English barcelona
What I mean is, because us, as fans realllllyy want it to happen. It just won't happen, when does it ever happen when we actually really want it to?
So what's the deal with Can then - Any leaning pictures yet? Or anyone know any updates of whats going on? I came across this, worth a look http://eplindex.com/54669/emre-perfect-liverpool.html
Ok yeah I think I remember seeing that date posted. So potentially, there are things that could go wrong and we might not even get him!! I just hope to see him leaning in early July then
I think the whole "deal agreed in principle" means that it's basically a done deal but they can't push the paperwork through until the 1st July, when the actual international transfer market opens. That's why Costa hasn't been officially signed by the chavs yet, even though all the deals have been agreed. The reason we've already signed Lambert is because he was from a team in the UK.
Aye, what Alexb said... It's all done, will become "official" on July 1st, he's agreed personal terms, we've agreed fee with the club, the paper work is done but can't be stamped until window "officially" opens.
24m is way over the top for Iturbe. 10M at the most, lot of potential but plays for a mediocre team to say the least.
would say iturbe is a better player than lallana who imho is only worth the 10-15 mill mark yet southampton want 30mill!!! for him, if it was a choice between the two it should be iturbe we go for.
Although Can shows the sort of maturity found in players in their mid twenties, his naivety in terms of his rough nature and tackling could see him in the book a fair few times in the Premier League. He received 13 yellow cards last season and was also sent off in the 2nd leg of Bayerâs last 16 tie against PSG in the Champions League. He had 2 yellows against PSG and his second yellow card was for diving against PSG in the CL. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/26533638
Yeah but cl is not a wet Tuesday in Stoke English football still allows a challenge unlike other countries as sterling found out to his shock having kicked a manc which after all is not even a foul in my book
Strange... they took up an option to sign him just so they could sell him straight away and make a profit? I didn't think you were allowed to be transferred twice permanently in the same window? Signed him for £12.5m you'd think a £5m profit for them would be decent but seems like they want at least £20m for him. I'd be pretty ****ed off if I was the player and knew the team only wanted me so they could sell me on again.
You can be signed to play for up to three clubs in a twelve month period but you're only allowed to play for two. It could be per season rather than twelve months though PS...the club they end the season with obviously counts as the first too.
Fair enough. He's obviously allowed to move again I guess otherwise they wouldn't be looking to sign him. Just must be odd as a player getting signed by a club to know they're looking to move you on. Can't do much for morale or being able to settle down with a house etc.
