we might be on the same page in a map , but if you are in a car or worse a train i dont think Hull is near or "on the way" to anything but Leeds . I reckon in a race from Leicester and Hull , using the shortest route the driver from Leicester would win it :/
Funnily as both Bruce & Davies seem to want/are negotiating a new deal, likely to be just agents touting. As they've both come out o the same day, I'd guess they have the same agent who has been talking to newspaper 'source'
Livermore valued at 6.5 million. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/tottenham-value-hull-transfer-target-3658794? I dont think that is an unfair price.
Sounds like Bruce disagrees with you Elle and is moving on. If CP want to pay the 6.5 mill. I'd say let them have him. However Bruce is right to play hardball much as I think Jake did a great job last season.
Difficult to put a figure on Livermore. Unlike Davies and thudd, there was little noise from the fans or media to see a call up for jake to the England squad. I can only think of one game last season where he was the clear man of the match so I'm not sure how spurs can justify such an increase in the fee from the 3 to 4 million figure that was quoted when he joined us on loan. I'd still rather have him than sidwell though.
I'd say £6.5 mill is better value than Sidwell for free. Yes it's probably £1 mill over priced but we know what we're getting, he wants to come, he's familiar with the other players & they with him, sell on value & younger with more athleticism!
£4m tops plus add on's for Livermore; a penny more and I would say no thank you. Also ref Sidwell, personally wouldn't be touching any midfielder his age irrespective of Prem Lge experience.
I only see him going in this window if Brucey goes. That said shows what good value Curtis has turned out to be, best inbound transfer for us last season by a country mile.
I know money talks but why would anyone want to go and play for Newcastle. The owners a **** and the managers a ****. On a professional level its a stupid move to go there. Good support and good fans before any Geordies start getting hot under the collar.
Yeah but as we all know they're the ones that stay for ever! The other two drift away like thieves in the night! (You can have that one)
That is a ridiculous insult. Looking at the prices being paid these days, often for ordinary or in the case of Spurs useless players, I would say 15 mil plus someone we might want. How much would it cost us to get as good a replacement? Not 4 mil. Fee calculated solely on basis of our status as a club. Shades of a few hundred thousand and Hesford.
Why would Bruce leave City to go to a club that has been raped, pillaged and looted ? Can't see it happening myself.
You just wouldn't let it lie. http://news.google.com/newspapers?nid=2507&dat=19821004&id=Y8NAAAAAIBAJ&sjid=CqYMAAAAIBAJ&pg=4080,517105
She has been to one or two. Football is so far outside of her world, it is alien to her. She is very similar to Assem Allam in that regard.
