That was a poor performance. Honduras' keeper couldn't hold onto anything, their defence gave us the ball all the time and they offered nothing going forward. We should have won that. So many times we lost possession just as an opening seemed to present itself, and so many times it was down to one individual trying a Hollywood through ball instead of playing a more simple but effective pass. England's problem for the last few years has been too many players in advanced positions who aren't comfortable on the ball once they're closed down. This current squad have until today been a lot better in that respect, so that performance was disappointing.

I agree. I thought Henderson was ****ing awful to be honest. In a midfield two he needs to do so much more than pass it 5 yards to Gerrard.
