Wilshere at his best would be a real asset. But in the last 18 months I've not seen much evidence of him fulfilling his potential.
First of all further evidence that football is going soft and that game at Charlton was played during an almighty thunderstorm. I know because I was there.
Don't mind Hoddle he just looks a bit wrong the last two games he looked like a) a East end gangsters fluffer and or b) he's just walked in after being Jim Carver from the Bill. Oooh some of these tackles look a bit tasty for a friendly...
He always looks good to me when he's not injured. Now he's a pundit I can't stand. He seems to really dislike the job. I know people like his no nonsense approach but he comes across as a **** to me.
Oh, there's no doubt Keane is a horrendously unpleasant **** - that ship sailed years ago. But it doesn't necessarily follow that it makes him a bad pundit. He speaks his mind, rather than offering bland, Shearer-like platitudes.
Completely agree. He's obsessed with his hard man image. He's a tit and wants knocking down a peg or two.
In a sort of how many Windsors' have to die before Prince Michael becomes King sort of thing - how many duff tackles before Hudd or Davies can get a call up?
It's restarted and we've played about 10 more minutes but it's just a bizarre game. End to end with loads of nasty looking collisions and one guy fouled Sturridge (as obvious as you could get) and then justt smashed the ball into his prone body from about a foot away.
This game could spark the kind of unforeseen rivalry that hasn't been seen since some hoodie clad tw*t flobbed some phlegm on Brian Horton at the Emirates.
