Yeah I saw that. I think the Birmingham game has also been put back to the Sunday because they are in Europe on the Thursday before!

Surprised about the Ghana Nigeria game. Credit where credit's due to whoever negotiated it, as it's surely worth more money than a pre-season friendly would generate. And you never know, Dychey might be spot someone. Just surprised that they've gone for the Vic. This certainly isn't a nothing match. On the contrary, it's a generally good-natured but nonetheless intense rivalry.

Just seen this on the rumour site, I will feign surprise:

Cardiff will sign Andrew Taylor from Middlesborough, and replace the outgoing Jay Bothroyd with former hero Robert Earnshaw, to partner with big John Parkin.

And some more from the Rumours website:

Gavin Mahon very well could be returning to Watford in a player/coach role. Mahon still speaks to a few of the Watford staff, including Dyche, and it is believed Dyche wants him back at the club. Dyche isn't expecting Mahon to play many games -few bench appearances here and there when numbers are light- but see's him as a great man to have around the training ground and see's potential in him as a coach and future manager.

I love all the rumours that surround the club. According to national radio stations Ashley Young has been sold to Man.Utd for £16m (Skysports), £17m (BBC), or £20m (Talksport).

I hope that A.Villa know what the right figure is and haven't mislaid the cheque book.;)

    Yet again the Rumour Website:

    23 Jun 2011 22:44:43
    Watford Rumours:

Its believed that Dyche will be given around £1 million to spend for transfers whilst the rest of the money from players who have left will pay off some debt.

    Ins:
Andy Weimann (Season Loan from Aston Villa)
    Danny Webber (Free from Portsmouth)
    Gavin Mahon (Player/Coach)
    Rhoys Wiggins (Transfer from Bournemouth)
An experienced centre half is also a target to add to the squad.

I know that site isn't exactly reliable but one of the most realistic scenarios of seen. The only fee being the Wiggins transfer. I nkow Charlton have had a bid of £300k rejected, but there are a 'rival', and Wiggins himself might ask to speak to us if a bid of aroung £350-400k went in

Kenny Jackett has just signed a new contract with Millwall, not knowing the ins and out in SE London it would be nice to believe he was perhaps holding on to see if he might get a chance to return to Watford.

Then again certainly a country mile wide of the mark.

Don Cowie should be on his way from Watford to Leeds soon. Good signing as he is the only reason Graham got so many last season. Expect a busy July for LUFC!
