Still reckon Mercedes have plenty up their sleeve, don't think the running order from Monaco will change significantly. Red Bull will probably be a bit further back due to their straight line speed issues.

Would be great for the sport if Ferrari could get close and Alonso could race the Mercedes.

I think the Mercs will pull out at least half a second personally.

I don't mean this in a wind up way but if you want to watch some genuine heroes, watch the highlights of the Isle of Man TT tonight and the accompanying documentary 'Closer To The Edge'. An absolute must for a fan of ANY motorsport. Imagine F1 Circa 1970- incredible characters but my god a brutal sport.

Did you notice when Rosberg did his 1:16.777, he stayed to the right to finish the lap - like you do in qualifying . That's the first time I've seen that today. It seems he's trying quite hard to beat Hamilton.

Vergne is doing well, now 6th. That secret test has helped them.

Great to see Lewis starting to restore order, Nico's face was a picture as he must be realising that Hertfordshire boy is about to go on another run of consecutive GP wins.

Usually 'first row sports' for sky F1 coverage. It's on free to air BBC here so I guess that's why it's not on the op

McLaren are even slower than Toro Rosso and Lotus, how can a team with so much resources be so consistently crap?

And with the mercedes engine? They need a real overhaul there. Is it the people in the factory, garage or the ones on track? I am becoming more disappointed in those guys. All these updates and nothing seems to be happening.

They need a real overhaul of their aero department, I think they need to embrace a bit more creativity in that area. Everything seems to be driven by numbers from their data and the wind tunnel if you look at their front wing it looks so less developed then the other big teams it looks more like the front wings on the Sauber and Marussia.

They also need a driver that wrestle the car muscle it around the track to squeeze out every ounce of speed and right now I don't think they have that.

Can anyone tell me what mercedes were doing during the super soft run? Is it the team trying to hide their true pace, the drivers trying to disguise their pace from each other or supersofts not working well on the mercedes? I found it kind of strange that last run.

How long do you have to be **** for before you just aren't a top team anymore? I think we're looking at a few years before Mclaren can even think about winning again. This is supposed to be the track which suits them best!

Who exactly can make a difference? Lewis only averaged about a tenth and a half faster than Jenson, so I guess we need someone at least half a second quicker than him just for a podium
