The atmosphere in Cardiff and inside The Millennium Stadium for a Six Nations is something that I have never experienced at football. Even with City at Wembley or the Millennium cannot compare.
Maybe it is because it only occurs three or four times a year. Maybe because, while I still look forward to City games after sixty five years, the magic is much less than it used to be. That adrenalin flows for me the day before any City game, but when I was a boy, I had that feeling for weeks before big games like the City v Rovers 1957 FA cup 5th round or all the other momentous games that live on forever inside me.
But singing the national anthem before the start of any Wales match and the hoel it generates is something else.

Have you ever experienced a Lions game Cidered? I've never seen one but would love to go one time before I depart from this planet.

No and I think it is very unlikely that I ever will. Not enough funds left to finance that sort of trip as my second wife. exactly the same as late first, is intent on spending everything now!

Don't think I will ever really get to go either, my wife hates rugby. My auntie has moved to Oz so maybe in 2029 if Argentina get involved in the tours or 2025 if not! as my wife is desperate to see her. <laugh>

I've seen the third and forth place World Cup finals All Blacks v South Africa in Wales and saw the defeat against the Aussies for the Welsh. So I suppose I've been lucky enough. Also saw Argentina v Japan in the hospitality suite, five course meal and drinks all paid for.
I suspect suppliers will take me next year to a game so will get at least one in.

Not all footballers feign injury...I will pick one of many, Mr. Carey of Bristol City, had as many head injuries as any rugby player.

Shaun Taylor is my pick for never ever feigning injury.

Ashley Young is the worst I've ever seen.

    And Wagstaff <laugh>

You should consult with you doctor RP. This eternal phobia about wagstaffitis could have a detrimental effect on you health!
