Yeah it's mainly a case of having had high expectations, because it sounded like such a cool concept. In reality it's: look at hackable object, hold square, object does its thing. Repeat. After I've seen a few pipes burst out of the road with the exact same animation and results every time, I'm pretty much over it.

Anyone watch The Island with Bear Grylls? There was controversy over whether it was set up or whatever. I know one way to find out...I've applied to be on the next series. Most people think it looks horrendous but I think it looks fun. Chances are I won't get on it, but it's worth a try. Fingers crossed.

They will get you to sign a NDA if you get on the show. One thing I do know is Grylls likes to say what the guys should do from a comfy hotel bed. I haven't really watched the show that much as I dislike Grylls as he is a fake. Much prefer Ray Mears.

You can probably get the first one for pennies now, and it's genuinely a cracker. Wouldn't bother with the second. Am looking forward to this next instalment.

I've read on the BBC News website that a woman has rung 999 to ask for advice on the amount of sprinkles she should rightly receive on her ice-cream.

I don't know what else to say.

I watched a police tv show the other week. Some one phone up on how long to cook a chicken as they didn't want to get poisoned. Some people are really weird.

How about the stuff breaking that allegedly Paddy Power (or at least some PP) has chopped down parts of the Brazilian rainforest to "support England"?

Apparently not. There are several different pictures of it and some computer clever people have done some Error Level Analysis (or something like that) to kind of verify it. It still could be, but most likely not.

Paddy Power do the odd humorous promotion, but that doesn't appeal to me in the slightest. Perhps being enviromentally sensitive and gambling don't go together. I'd never bet, and gamblers don't give a ****..?

They do like stirring up ****, do Paddy Power. Still can't get over them offering odds on the Pistorius case, under the headline of "Money back if Oscar Walks"...

I still don't believe it. I'm almost certain it's fake but if it raises the issue of deforestation in the Amazon in the public consciousness, then it'd be worth a fake publicity stunt.
