It's pretty annoying that we've been tarred with the same brush as you. No offence intended but you're on a different planet when it comes to spending whereas we've barely spent a penny since Sven left in 2012. We've been trapped by his stupid contracts to players we haven't been able to get rid of and have been nowhere near the first team. From the players that have played a decent part of the season (10 apps or more) we've spent ~£8.6m. Not bad for a side that walked the league. Nugent had been released by Pompey and we signed Vardy for 1m from Fleetwood. I imagine that Nugent would be on around 10-15k (Sven signed him, so he's probably on a fair amount) and Vardy on about 5k.
I know that this is off topic but I read in one of my local rags that two directors or upstairs office bods at Reading FC were on £20k a month! It's no wonder they are having problems with that going on.

Nugent is currently out of contract and has its been rumoured that he wants more than Kasper and that's not going to happen. He's turning 30 next season and couldn't make double figures from goals from open play. If he thinks that someone else at this level will offer anything more then he's deluded. Still, I expect he'll surrender and see the light. Kasper is rumoured to be our best paid player ever but I'm not sure where you've got 40k from. Seems you've made that up.
Well so are we, we're tied to contracts given out by mainly Mark Hughes but also Neil Warnock. They still need to be paid, no getting away from it. Both clubs guilty in that regard mate.

Sorry NZ but the idiot comes on our board giving it large...only to be found out as a clown through his own posts. i can tolerate even the dumbest of posters, but he's just plain stupid. Have you ever seen him admit to one of leicesters failings or acknowledge that your club (as have ours) may have made a mistake? he's an idiot and god knows how the F he ever got to mod status. A let down for a decent club and decent bunch of supporters in my eyes. you should maybe change your forum rules so that all mods have to be over 18 ?
Seeing as nearly all Championship clubs had decided that the rules were unfair and unworkable not long ago and that the premier league had said the same, I can't see why all would change their view now. I'd imagine the club will work very hard to stay within the FFP from now on because eventually the leagues will decide on a set of rules, but as they stand I cant see any fines or sanctions being imposed.
