For me it is essential for someone to be mentally fully developed before subscribing to regular pot use. I am totally against under developed minds regularly smoking. But then again underage drinking is also not right. If you are an active person and THEN you take up smoking you will still be an active person. AGAIN getting the RIGHT type of weed is important, not everyone likes to be wiped out in a coma state All I am reading is rigid uninformed lines of argument on this.. from non smokers

I am both alternately depending on what workload at have at home and work I already said, wasters will be wasters, lets not blame the weed mate, when I have nothing on I like to get stoked, does that mean the weed is making me lazy? Nah, I often play indoor football after a few smokes
I think adults can and should be able to make their own decision, minors should stay well clear of weed, especially strong weed

The state of a mind you are introducing a substance like weed to or LSD or Coke to, is the biggest factor in how things will turn out. A not fully developed mind will mean the constant substance abuse will affect further development and altering what the person may become. This leads to growing into a wastrel, constantly smoking **** from 15 years old.. essentially you miss out on the transition into being productive or responsible individual as it were, Parents take a hefty chunk of blame here I'm afraid if they let their kid sit around playing games stoned all day. I don't know anyone who's quit a successful career or even quit working so they can sit around all day smoking. Only established constant smokers who occasionally get a job do that sort of thing which I have seen many times. Drinking coke all day, booze all day, coffee all day.. worse for your health. McDonalds will kill you before weed would
That's all without getting into the other side of it. The cost of enforcing the law. The effects on the lives of people who are charged with possession. Is it really the right thing to do to make someone a criminal for this? Given the impact that can have on their lives. Yes they made the decision knowing the possible outcome but when you consider it NOT to be a crime as I agree that the state has no right to tell you what you can and cant put into your own body, then its easier to decide it's up to you and the odds are in your favour in terms of getting caught Alcohol is mind altering, so it makes me laugh when people say mind altering drugs, that's the freaking point of the drugs All of them, booze too if abused too much for too long they will alter a personality, permanently.
