But an easy one to live with when the clubs around us have bigger issues like winning **** all after spending £100m
He'd be a good replacement for Lampard so I'm not so sure. Never heard of Markovic but out of the other two I'd definitely prefer Shaqiri
I'm starting to think there is a link between him loving the **** film thread and him having three Cs for his username
Scoring 101 goals in 38 games needs addressing too #chelsealogic Edit: despite conceding so many AND losing to you guys twice, we still finished above you too
But the aim is to win the league, not finish second. Your forwards are fine, your defence needs improving, then you might come first. Stop arguing for arguings sake and concede that you need to improve your defence, that was my only point.
We all know we need to improve our defence, do you really think we need someone to point it out? It gets discussed a lot on here, but if you come into a conversation half way through, you can easily get the wrong end of the stick.
That's disappointing RHC - I think 2 new attackers would be very good for us. Shaqiri and Markovic over Lallana any day of the weak - 2 players with world class potential and would cost about the same as Lallana as well.
£20m on Markkovic who has played 20 senior games in his career... for Benfica scoring 5 goals? I'll pass if that's ok...
Better than spending £25m on Lallana who has had one good season for Soton, older and with a lower ceiling of ability ... Markovic played a big part in Benfica's title success this season and getting them to Europa League final. Invaluable experience for a 20 year old. Personally, we need to be targeting with this sort of background. Players with experience of playing for big clubs with big expectations. I don't think it's a coincidence that since the introduction of Coutinho, Sturridge, Sakho, Toure and even Cissokho helped instill a winning mentality.
I didn't say there wouldn't be another strike option, but it's only one of those particular three and I agree with your latter point.
