Banega does look to have some portion of Modric's flair, ability to bring the ball through midfield quickly and pass accurately from long range. The fact that Sunderland have apparently made around an 8 million pound bid may indicate the portion isn't very large. He may also see himself in more of a CAM role, as he looks to be a decent goalscoring and free kick threat. Still, I would take him, I think, because he's better than anyone we have in the deep lying role--if highlight videos can be trusted, which they can't. If he wants to go then it is best we sell him... If the manager wants him gone then it is best we sell him... Either him or Paulinio will end up going imo as they both play in the same or similar role and neither will be prepared to sit on the bench... Unfortunately for us it will be easier for the club to make a profit on Sandro (he only cost £6m) than Paulinio (£19m) The bottom line is we need to let the manager sort out who he does and does not want in his squad...just hope it ain't gonna be a massive turn around and we end up with another team of strangers
according to reports ,they made a bid after hearing he was supposed to have said, he would like to play in Italy
Or his agent is encouraging bids. Either way Sandro has been fantastic for us. Always gives 100%. Although he should remember that in Italy he will get sent off often!
The beeb gossip column ars saying we have hijacked a pool transfer again. This time it's L/B Alberto Moreno,we have offered 14 million and Soldado on loan, and thrown in Capoue,as well
Chelsea sign Costa, who I believe is the 3rd most prolific striker in La Liga (behind Messi & Ronaldo). Last summer we signed the 3rd most prolific striker in La Liga (behind Messi & Ronaldo). I sincerely hope Costa is as successful as Soldado.
Funnily enough i'm hoping the same, and Alan Green said last night on 5 live, he doesn't think he will be succesful
Now, now, lads! Let's not be unfair about Chelsea's record with strikers. Didn't they sign Torres for £50 million? Oh, wait... er... Ah, but hang on! Strurridge is recognized by most knowledgeable pundits as being an excellent young striker... Oh! Oops! Fair enough, but at least they have Lukaku. He's easily their best striker - one of the best int he Prem - so he's sure to be guaranteed a start in a Chelsea shirt... Wait... Okay, I'll admit it - Mad Dog is utter ****e when it comes to strikers.
Costa has only scored over 10 goals in a season (once in his career). Last season. I would prefer Harry Kane.
According to http://www.hertfordshiremercury.co....iverpool-drop-out-of-race-20140605100951.htm? the Mirror are reporting we'll get Lallana, and the Mail that we'll get Moreno. Surely that means we're out of the running for both.
Apparently we've enquired about Ben Davies and Wilfried Bony. Also, we've supposedly made an offer, rumoured to be around 1.6m for a young Croatian called Andrija Balic
Careful tots as when Roo says apparently that means his info has come from Twitter, so don't get your hopes up.
Ewww! Seriously...........me too. Always want a guy named Ballache too. Is it like the before and after? Bony -> Ballache. Its still not as good as Muller-Reus, but beggars can't be choosers. I guess Ball-itch is closer, but i couldn't link it to Bony, its early ok! Don't know this Moreno chap but he's a left back, so i already love him. Would take Lallana if we're having a midfield clearout
Mirror so obviously not gospel!! http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/liverpool-agree-five-year-deal-alberto-3651268 Lallana doing this, seems a little odd? please log in to view this image So we may of hijacked both those deals?
Personally, whilst I think Lallana is a very good player, I believe our spending priorities lie elsewhere. I would be surprised if we are even interested in competing for him.
