I'm come to the conclusion that we shouldn't sign any new players for the following reasons: (1) they are all too old; (2) they are all too young; (3) they are all utter, utter ****; (4) they are all injury prone; (5) they are all too expensive; (6) they are all below average; (7) they are all 'the wrong sort'; (8) they are all looking for that one last big payday; (9) they are all too lightweight and easily knocked off the ball; and (10) they might be good now, but once in the Hoops will turn crap. And (thanks to Gimme)... (11) they are overweight; (12) they are former Chelsea players; and (13) they no speak-a da-language. Others will back me up on this, so no discussion is required.
Good thread Uber. Does number 9 cover good quality foreign players that can't run fast enough to play in the prem? Being a London based club is a curse for us, players only want to sign due to the very good night life and "roasting" opportunity's our world famous capital city offers.
According to Swords the going rate is €30 a blowy, with a further €20 for a happy ending...
