Lulu of 1p5wich going on about humour. Way back he took offence at some of my pisstaking. Complete and utter tosser.
BFJ Had connections with the Budgies as a player long before he managed Town so I say good luck to him! A ready made replacement for when Adams gets the old heave-ho!
Well at least they cant now say that we have a footballing 'Dinosaur' as a manager when they have just appointed someone who hasnt been involved in football since 2009! Like I say, I really like BFJ and am grateful for the work he put in here at Town whilst he was manager. He is a genuinely top bloke and I say this after sharing many a pint with him a few years back. There is no anomosity from me on this subject thats for sure! I wish him well but of course not when they face us in the Old Farm!
If i am being honest i like BFJ, before Mick he was our last decent manager. Norwich just seem to be firefighting with every decision at the moment.
Appointing BFJ is a sensible move by them for a change! BFJ was a mentor to Adams since their Oldham days and it makes sense for them to appoint someone who is well known to the new manager, presumably someone that Adams looks up to. The only reservation has to be the time that BFJ has spent away from front line football and he may not have the contacts in the game that he used to have. I guess time will tell...
but surely if the scouted europe so well for their next manager (their quote) then dragging somebody who has been out of the game since 2009 smacks desperate. Don't get me wrong, BFJ can't do no harm but you have to question why?
