Thank you MLiR. The problem with Guly's Joint Gaff was that several wanted Joint and others wanted Gaff. I was just trying to please everybody and ended up pleasing nobody. The mistake was putting it to a vote. I shan't do that again. Besides, it gives me a chance to be creative.

On the thread is too cumbersome for my phone debate, I have also checked this out on my Samsung Galaxy S2, and while there is no problem for 90% of the time, it does occasionally bind up the works. Other phones may also be more or less capable. One has to think objectively, not subjectively. Just because it isn't a problem for some doesn't mean it is not a problem for others. On the Liverpool forum they have several threads of huge size, and they are definitely a tad unwieldy. Also, there is an argument which suggests a smaller thread is easier on a server when traffic is high. All in all we'll continue to change threads once they get noticed as being over a thousand posts. Ta.

Got home to find the phone ringing over and over. One of my neighbours complaining that our sprinkler has been flooding their garden all day. She's pissed off. I explain we don't have a sprinkler and tell her to shut up for a second so I can have a look outside. Turns out the hose is on in the middle of the garden and spraying right over their fence. Hilarious.
