You clearly didn't realise that none of the back 4 or the goalkeeper or in fact the two holding players in front of them will not be starting in the World Cup then.
Oh but i do. You clearly dont realise like Woy that we have little after the main starting 11. It was Ecuador we were playing ffs not Brazil.
You do talk a load of rubbish! Ecuador are a very good team and that was ideal preparation. We're very thin on the ground a centre half but everyone knew that. Though apart from that I thought we looked very strong, kept the ball well at times and had an unpredictable edge going forward. Considering the youth in the side I thought they played with great maturity, although I do agree with what Roy said about Barkley.
Of course he was and that just proves my point. We all know the result was the least important though And you dont ? ffs Woy has killed any chance we had with his choices in the defending dept. The chickens could well come home to roast and much quicker than anyone thought.
But we don't have any other defenders that are realistically ready. Terry wasn't available, Stones isn't ready, there isn't anyone else! You're severely underestimating how good Ecuador are, they've got a wonderful chance of progressing out of their group
Good news for Ox, only out for between 10 days - 3 weeks according to Sky Sources. Italy game in 10 days so probably back for Uruguay game
Bit late to be experimenting with his squad. Thought we had some games over the past year for that, those games when he picked the same old faces over and over again, rather than trying some new blood.
I agree, wasn't the point I was making though. I was making the point that last night the result didn't matter and to start worrying because we didn't win last night is ridiculous.
The FA and Woy should have gone cap in hand and begged yes begged John Terry to come out of retirement and also take Ashley Cole along with Curtis Davies should be out there. At least 2 of the 3 would have been if Woy knew what he was doing.
The result did not matter but who is worried. What concerned me was how poor we were against a poor side.
I don't think we were poor at all, you said yourself you didn't watch the whole game so I don't think you can judge.
I thought it was quite a good game to watch last night, it made an interesting change to have bright attacking players along with no defence.
Ok i shall watch the whole game again tonight. It is on ITV player. If it had some better parts then fair enough. Will report back friday. The FA have just said that no time frame on the Ox re his injury.
