Well Wikipedia has his current club as us so that's it done deal. He's got Turkish blood so that'll account for him having similar features to Sahin as DR pointed out. Quite a few German players with Turkish backgrounds... Ozil for one.
Not a bad little player from what I have seen and heard. Will bolster your midfield. Surely though the primary focus should be on your defence though? Your forwards were awesome last season and your midfield pretty decent. Not that its a bad signing, but odd that you have made two signings and neither are defenders when this is clearly the area that needs the most attention. Do you guys think its a lack of quality talent in defence, or coaching or both?
It's a center back partnership we lack. Look at you guys Terry past his best, Cahill a good defender but not the best individual but together it works.
No, not just him, but he is to blame a lot. We never had a settled back two and the lack of cover from midfield was terrible.

I signed this guy last year on Fifa for Yeovil (then in League 1) and he was rubbish. This year he's only 68 on FIFA too. That says it all. £10million seems pricey. #Fifaknowsbest
