And that we are just a bigger club. Play better football, big name players in our squad. The sole thing Tottenham have is that its in London, but then you would rather go to Arsenal.
that sadly is a bigger pull than you would think it should be. its a millionaires playground really London, great if you have money, which being a prem footballer would.
if we leave LFC out of this... 1. how many managers have spurs had in the past 10 years. 2. how many of their best players get sold 3. where do they always finish (europa) 4. how many pots are on the shelf (in last 10 years) 5. what are top players aying (lloris, vertongehn.. soldado) now include LFC 1. signs of stability increasingly. 2. recent (though a long time now) success in CL and record 3. re-entry inot big league 4. world class player plus some back up 5. some history of trophies (even if league cup is only one under current owners) So in short Spurs look chaotic and frankly a player going there can harm their career. see soldado! however they can also go and then join a big club for big money. IF lfc still see players choose spurs IMO 90% of those players we would not want. I understand ANYONE joining chelski to go out on loan as the moeny and dream is there... arsenal are a stertch but could be seen as on the up and very well paying but spurs? none f the above really out. 2 years ago I would have said yeah lfc look on the slide, dempsey was a joke and carroll too. i could understand anyone making the call like sigurdsson especially if offer double the wages. right now though? LFc look on the up and the onky question in my mind is purely financial.
Spurs need to keep this manager for multiple seasons, he will improve them, but it will be hard at first. Germany really rate Can which is only a positive, he looks a but like Sahin, hope his attitude isn't the same. Could see: -----Can---Henderson Sterling-Coutinho-Suarez -------Sturridge Deadly.
Can looks stronger and more athletic than Sahin. Sahin was coming back from a big injury when he joined us to.
Read this on the Echo website I can't add the picture but you can see it here........ http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/spor...ews/young-fan-gets-england-midfielder-7212288 This is the picture that will bring huge smiles to many Reds fans - Adam Lallana signing a Liverpool FC jersey for a young fan. The picture was taken as England continue preparations for the World Cup with a training camp in Miami, and if Guillermo Quintero's tweet is anything to go by, it look looks like Lallana wants that switch to Merseyside. Asked Lallana if he was signing, said he "Hopes so mate" pic.twitter.com/xr7ppQB22a — Guillermo Quintero (@guillenick) June 3, 2014 Liverpool have tabled a 'take it or leave it' £25million bid for the midfielder, however, Southampton are playing hard ball. Nonetheless the Reds are still hopeful that a deal can be thrashed out before the World Cup gets underway. They would be willing to fly staff to Miami or Brazil in order to complete a medical with Lallana, if necessary. And the youngster also met a few more of his heroes...
Hadn't seen it, I got the feeling he wanted to come to us but hadn't seent that quote from the kid. My only worry is the price.
