    He might be worth seeing. I may well swing by and check him out depending what time etc. He was on the last series of Jools (as he's been guesting with the R&B Orchestra) and I thought he was alright to be honest.

    Saw them at Linnet Xmas Eve before last and they were exceptionally good I have to say.

    They did a single with Neville Staple as well a couple of years back.

    Oh and I introduced them at Springboard a couple of years back, unfortunately their manager at the time told me they had supported Rancid, so I duly trumpeted this from the stage, only to then be informed by the band that they had no idea what I was talking about as they had done no so such thing and had no idea where that had come from. The moral? Managers are dicks. (I didn't get to see the gig that night as I had to head off elsewhere sharpish).
