Italy were 50-1 on to win tonight.

I should know, I put them in my accumulator.

Not to worry though as I also had England.

I can stand to lose a fiver mate.

Even though I'm from Bransolme I can still afford that much.

    Point taken though.

    Soft bastard. <laugh>

Like I said, it's a contact sport. If the precious little players don't want their hair ruffled they shouldn't play this sport. Sterling's tackle was full-blooded and a pretty good challenge. I didn't think a player of his size had it in him. Hard tackles are part of the English game. I don't know what sort of fragile gash you're watching at the King Power.

Woy's constant inclusion of Smalling proves there is no God. And if there is, he really hates the English.

    I married a Bransholme lass.

When she moved there in 1971, the family were chuffed to bits 'cos they'd come from a slum on Holderness Road that had no internal plumbing and only a cold water supply in the yard.

She left school with literally no qualifications, having not turned up to any of her exams.

I'll admit to wiping away a tear when she graduated from Newcastle University 20 years later.

Less so when she gained her Masters 2 years later, out qualificationing me.

She's still a bolshy, stroppy mad Mrs 'Ull however.

You can take the lass out of Bransholme, but you can't take Bransholme out of the lass.

Has anyone else noticed how the original meaning of 'chav' seems to have been pretty much wiped out?

Apparently, Chamberlain might have picked up some ligament damage, which could rule him out.

Biggest concern? That might result in Woy calling Cleverley up.

I am a man of the North, in name as well as where I once dwelled.

Watching a recorded Game of Thrones, hence why I sound like John Snow.
