Then why play him there? I keep coming back to this, we should know our best starters by now, and be playing them in their optimum position.
Even the edited reply is a bit **** to be honest Agree though, Wilshire is not the player you want to bring on if defending a lead! Henderson would be ahead of him (if he isn't starting) and same with Milner. Both offer much more in defence than Wilshire.
Seriously... Don't mistake diving in for tackling. Sterling threw himself in there totally unnecessarily. Sterling made an error, he can still tackle and harass players and so forth
At last a serious and objective view. He just needs to stop doing reckless tackles. I never said he should not tackle...
Ha can't argue with that...tried to make it stand out in Bold and couldn't do it...too old but now I've found out how to
Well in fairness it was a manc... He showed restraint not snapping the guy in two mortal kombat style
I think Valencia had a go cos Sterlings tackle was a bit reckless and could have potentially put him out of the world cup. no one wants to be injured now.
Yes that is true but as a coward I reckon if itd been Milner or lambert he'd have stayed down and rolled about
So the rest of us are blinded by bias and incapable of an objective view, because we have a different opinion?
Very, very surprised. never seen Valencia react that way before, he must have felt there was more intent in it than there was. Hope he goes to have a word with Sterling later (in a calming way).
