  1. I'd prefer him in that situation to Johnson. Milner is a work horse and won't give up until he's either got the ball or its no longer within his grasp.

True.. as I wrote that last bit I suddenly thought I wouldn't fancy Johnson either...

Strange how 10 years ago we were a team with a very good defence and dodgy forwards, now we're a team with young exciting forwards but a dodgy defence!

It would appear that Linacre/Scholes have opened up a can of worms over Rooney. Funny as ****. World class? <laugh>

  8. Apparently, I'm biased when I say Rooney shouldn't even be in the England starting XI whilst its accepted when the chavs say it <laugh>

i dunno, there are several line up... the thing is which ever side of this you fall on you have to admit that if rooney hits a hot streak he will be real hot so if the team is well constructed he can be key but if he's not right or just out of form he's a sulky liability.

for me sturridge has to be up top and then really its 3 behind that and gerrard and henderosn in front of the back 4.

the only actual question fro me is who are the 3 and wellbeck for me is more of a nono than rooney.

  10. We shouldn't be putting square pegs in round holes. Rooney isn't a winger or No.10 so why put him in the three? IMO its Studge or Rooney up top. Let the likes of Ox, Sterling, Barkley, Lallana, etc battle it out for the three spots.

Regarding RB... I think Gerrard could do a job there. We have other midfielders... right back is sparse. He was trained early on across the entire backline- and indeed played right back for us for the last 20 or 30 minutes for us in Istanbul.

Italy were total crap last time we met them in a tournament... we still didn't beat them but Woy raved about how great we were and how we had improved.

    I foresee history repeating itself.
