Seriously, Wilshere can't go 20 minutes without going down injured. Lallana on.

Ah, Jack Wilshere has cramp. Runs around a lot and does not a lot, in my opinion. Another Liverpool player to replace him..? Oh no, it's Adam Lallana.

I never thought the day would come when a Saint came on wearing an England shirt and I would feel totally indifferent to him..................... thanks AL.

Well England made hard work of that in the end. At least it was the B team.

BTW, you know how teams like Italy or Germany play their warm up matches at 80-90%, and then they start to come good as the World Cup [or Euro] gets going..?

Well I think that's as well as England can play, irrespective of the team line up. Get those lowered expectations even lower. Don't be disappointed. :)

    James Milner.......what is the point
He can play in every position but goalie and isn't good enough in any single one
    He drives me to distraction

Clyne could have done way better. And justified his place.

Best to keep one of good players away from Liverpool (particularly because they actually need him)

I don't know why Milner, Lampard and Wilshere are in the team.

Well it was entertaining if nothing else, but really struggling to get excited about our remaining two players wearing an England shirt.

Such a shame after a great season, this should of been the cherry on the cake.

Three Saints academy players on the pitch for England...Oxo, Adam and Luke. We are experiencing difficult times, but got to be proud of that.

That's a very good point Qwerts. We need to recruit an academy of foreign players in future. :)

I think Clyne's chances suffered when he was out injured and then took a while to dislodge Chambers. I personally would have put Clyne staright back in when fit and I think Clyne has the ability to be the next regular England right back. If Roy saw his performance against Everton he should have booked him on the plane straight away. That performance was immense and flawless!

Hmm, PL 8th place and ambitions to go higher. I think you''re redefining difficult times there, Fran. :)
