His improvement this year compared to 2 years ago when he last played has been incredible. If he develops in a similar way over the next few years he could become a very solid RB. Only problem is he isn't pacey but strong in the tackle and with the ball at his feet he's as good as anyone.
I think that'll be the case anyway. But we can at least make it alittle more difficult for Uruguay and Italy
Milner gets the ball with acres of space to run it.... so he walks with the ball, lets the opposition player catch up then plays it backwards and slows the whole attack down. Had that been Sterling he'd have been off and countering.
There is no substitute for experience. It is fine to attack but we need to do a bit of defending too. Our players do not know how to defend.
I'm baffled. One game to go before the world's biggest international tournament, why are we fielding players who won't be there?
Sterling slides in, wins the ball. Valencia then runs up, grabs him round the throat. Sterling gets sent off
Valencia going full psycho And getting both sent off, ****ing ******. Glad it doesn't cost Sterling any games. Also what a ****ing useless ref. Just give them both a Yellow and be done with it.
