Tonight's XI: Foster Milner Smalling Jones Shaw Lampard Wilshere Chamberlain Barkley Rooney Lambert Hard to predict this one. Though having Jones and that **** Smalling in central defence does concern me a god awful lot.
Also, since it hasn't been mentioned yet: Well done Chester, making his international debut tonight for Wales.
I feel sorry for Milner, he's a genuine player who gives it his all, he doesnt deserve the **** he gets. He shouldnt be asked to do this at international level.
Care to post the Wales side, Macca? Personally think that the result and team performance won't matter so much in this game. Woy will be looking at individual performances as this is clearly the 'b' team. Would like to see Barkley bag a goal.
Lets hope for his sake that he makes a better fist of it than our Jeff did last week. Robben had his pants down all game.
Completely agree that it's the B team but I'd argue that it's still a better team than we've put out at the previous World Cup and Euros
1 Hennessey 2 Gunter 3 Taylor 5 Gabbidon 6 Chester 4 Ledley 7 Allen 8 Robson-Kanu 10 King 11 Williams 9 Church [EDIT: Macca got there before me - but mine is nicely arranged like an old lady's tea tray. And no, that's not a euphemism.]
Resting quite a few of the first team to be fair. But yeah, they're ****. I can still see them having a chance of qualifying for Euro 2016 now it has been expanded.
